So I had this weird dream the other night. It was a very vivid one but I am not really sure what to make of it other than it is just plain odd.
I dreamt that I was at work, though not where I currently work, and my job was helping cancer patients get funding for their chemotherapy. Anyway one day I go into work to find an envelope in my mailbox with a key in it that goes to an El Camino parked outside the building. I go outside and there are actually 3 el Caminos welded together to make one superwide Elcamino with Astroturf and lots of trees in the back of the car. I remember thinking I could plant an orchard with all these trees. Also in the car were lots of trinkets and crap from Christmas Tree Shop like Candied orange wedges.
Anyway the cars as well as a rusty though stylish tractor were gifts from Martha Plympton. In case you don't know who Martha Plympton is, she is an actress who starred in the Goonies. Google her.
The reason why she was sending the gifts was she need me to find funding for her cancer treatment as she had lymphoma. Anyway I told her she made too much money but I would do my best. Any the next thing I know I am at a "Star Studded Gala" to raise money for Martha's cancer treatment hosted by Star Jones.
Anyone want t take a stab at dream interpretation???

So as promised, I am making a posting. this week was fairly decent and the weekend looks good as well. The only hiccup that happened was my accident between a MBTA Bus and my Mini Cooper. It happened last night as I was heading home from work. I was at an intersection in Bedford and was waiting at the light when a bus took the turn too sharply and ended up scraping my bumper. The damage actually isn't that bad, though I am sure it will cost an arm and a leg to fix it. Thanks for insurance....
Mike and I are heading to Newport tonight for a night away. It should be fun. Sleep tonight and spa appointment in the morning. Tomorrow night, we are going to Salem for a family event. Other than that, it will be a lot of relaxation.

Good Evening folks. I was checking my e-mail and I was nudged by Tom for not posting in my journal. It's true I haven't posted regularly in 45 weeks (slaps own hand) but in reality I haven't posted with earnest in two years... Not quite sure why, but I guess I'll figure it out at some point. So lets see. justin has been quite busy as of late and has had a lot of changes in his life. For one I got a new job in Bedford for a medical device start up as the Director of Reimbursement. Doubled my salary, bought a new Mini Cooper, and moved to the South End. Mike and I are still going strong after two years, and things are pretty good between us. We spent fourth of July in P-Town and harassed the breeders (joke) Life is good. I just live at work while I build my empire. Anyway, I will try to be better at posting to the journal. I have lost touch with a lot of people who I would like to reconnect with. I hope everyone is doing well and look forward to at the least reading everyones journal to see what's new and catch up and at best post on here \more often than every 45 weeks.

Current Music: Stephanie Miller - Friday Repeat
So The weekend has been mixed. I feel mentally like you do after a bout of the flu. Physically fine, but not quite back to normal. Friday I took the day off of work, and ran errands. I drove to UNH to get a copy of my transcript because the bureaucracy at Bunker Hill Community College seems to have misplaced mine. So I drive up and make it in little time which was nice because I expected a huge throng of traffic since it is Labor Day weekend and all. Surprisingly there was veryu little traffic and NO LINE at the Hampton Toll! Anyway going to UNH was interesting. It hasn't changed all that much in the 4 years since I was there. They still have the Area One girls. The Registrar took my money and said I'd get my transcript in a week. Fuckers... I thought I could get it right then and there but the bitch behind the counter did not care that I needed them ASAP. I muttered audibly as I left, "this is the kind of service one gets by paying this place 45K for a crappy piece of paper that hasn't translated into a livable wage." Interestingly, BHCC is worse when it comes to service as I was herded like cattle between financial aid, enrollment services, and the business office. 5 hours later I was 45% done with the things I need to do. I still have to purchase books. Though at 100 bucks a credit you really do get what you pay for. Oh well, this will be worth it. My new associates degree will double my salary.
Friday night, Mike, Katie and I went out for Tapas and got drunk... really drunk.
Saturday I was hung over which I hate being.. I'm never hung over. Ever. Anyway Mike and I looked at an apartment which is gorgeous. Right on Comm ave between Berkeley and Clarendon with french doors that open onto a balcony overlooking Comm Ave. very nice. After that I went to Leominster for a family reunion which was good. I played with the babies and took a lot of pictures which will be posted at some time. After that, I came home and did some chores before heading over to Mikes to head over to Kasey and Sams for a BBQ and more drinking. It was a lot of fun and Kasey and I vibed on our photographs. We may team up next month for an open studios in Roslindale. We'll see though.
This morning was decent and lazy we watched Meet the Press and I cooked mushroom and gruere ommlettes and sides of bacon. Yum. We are now watching what's left of New Orleans on the TV. The rest of the day will be spent on my fat ass digesting the ommlette. I'm trying to figure out how I can volunteer down at the Convention Center when the refugees arrive. I already maxxed out my credit card making a donation to the Red Cross.
OK back to the couch.
